Kelly
Kelly fled a violent relationship and sought safety at a local shelter. As a result of the domestic violence, Kelly lost both her home and custody of her young daughter. While in shelter, Kelly was connected with Miriam’s House and began putting the pieces of her life back together. The week before Christmas, our staff helped Kelly move into her own home which led to the reunion of Kelly and her daughter. One month later, Kelly was employed caring for an elderly woman. Her daughter is thriving and both are enjoying the safety and comfort of their new home. Their new life is off to a promising start thanks to Kelly’s perseverance and the services offered through Miriam’s House.
