What community volunteerism, including board service, are you most proud of?

I have proudly served on the Miriam's House board since 2017. It has been a privilege to be associated with this incredible organization and the transformative work they have done to address homelessness in our community.

What brought you to MH, and why did you decide to serve as a board member?

I joined the board during my time with Women & Children’s Services. Miriam's House is deeply involved in supporting women in our community, ensuring that families have access to safe and appropriate housing. This mission resonated with me, and I felt compelled to contribute more by serving on the board.

What are you most proud in regards to the work of MH?

What I admire most about Miriam's House is how they continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of the community. They don’t just identify problems—they actively seek out and implement sustainable solutions. It’s inspiring to see an organization so committed to long-term impact.

What do you wish all of Lynchburg knew about MH?

I hope the Lynchburg community understands how fortunate we are to have Miriam's House. They genuinely care about the health and wellbeing of those they serve, and they work tirelessly to help individuals and families achieve lasting success.
