Board Member Spotlight: Dr. James M. Peery, III

We welcome new board member, Dr. James M. Peery III, to our dynamic team of directors! Dr. Peery was born and raised here in Lynchburg and, following his dentistry education, returned to the area to join his father at Peery Family Dentistry. Dr. Peery is a pilot, an active volunteer at the Free Clinic of Central Virginia, and serves on many international mission trips. Dr. Peery and his wife, Hoa, are recent newlyweds and are both active members of the Lynchburg community. When asked about his Miriam’s House board service, Dr. Peery shared:

"I could not be more excited to join this Board and become a part of something as impactful as Miriam's House.  To see the passion, the competence, and the dedication of all those involved has been an inspiration for me to do more for my community. I am very honored to have been considered and look forward to serving the mission of Miriam's House!"
